Birthday Cards, Motorbikes and Puppies.

Blog Goal: FAIL AGAIN.
Try, try try, harder this time.
As of this weekend, I'm once again employed. I tend to create more when I have less time to do it, so I'm optimistic.

Birthday requirements also make me draw. Love making cards for my little nephews and nieces :)

... these two are from last year, when I finally learnt to take photos of them.

They're quick little things, but fun, and they give me deadlines (which hell knows I need).

In other news, we have a new puppy. Well, I have a new puppy... The Boy said, "ma'am, I'd like to buy a motorbike," and I said, "darling, you can get a suicide machine when you get me a new dog," and he drove me to the RSPCA the following morning.
Okay, so that's not really how it went... The Boy getting his RE license was all my doing as I'm a little more, "just get up and do it," when it comes to everybody else's life. But we couldn't afford a bike... or a new puppy. So I thought my trading idea would put a stop to the matter.
Something tells me I should have asked for a horse.

oooooooosh who can't resist a puppy??? i honestly like them better than babies. they're crying is much less annoying. Plus they don't scream. Plus they're fluffy, babies are bald and that's ugly. Anyway, enough of that comparison.

PUPPY!!!

Congratulations, you must be very proud pup parents!

I think I saws photos on the Facebook?

We watched 'The Social Network' last night. Very 'smart' movie. Too much tech spec for my liking, and I didn't find it overly entertaining... but it was watched.

You're greeting cards are the bomb as well - love em!!! The dino one speshally :D

Thank you, I am a very proud new parent... I completely agree with your comparison... especially the "fluffy" part... you can't ruffle a baby. And who can argue with the instant affection you get from a dog? It takes months upon months to get a reaction from a baby that isn't caused by food or lack thereof.
I suppose it does take them longer to chew up your chews, though.

I haven't seen the social network yet, I find it hard to want to watch the more serious kinds of movies just because I know I'll have to think a little... comedy shows require very little brain activity :)
Think I might pass it a little bit longer with your critique of it... I'm far too lazy to watch a smart movie!
